Statement

I am working with moving images, articulating visual sensations in a poetic way. I am interested in the emotions that images have the potential to evoke, and I use video because it can present both the flutter of life and a flux of memories. The starting point of a work always comes from the visual pleasure I take in looking at the world. With the camera often by my side, I accumulate footage in a visual diary, an archive spanning many years. I choose between different presentation formats depending on the context of the exhibition: it can be a phone, a screen, or a projection. More specifically, I create video installations that play with scale and the materiality of the image, emphasizing its physical presence.
