The video-installation No Solid Ground consists of three panels of thin white silk suspended side by side to form a large screen cutting diagonally across the space. As a back projection hits the fabric, it forms a fluid and ghostly image on the floating surface. The projection also seeps through
to the opposite walls where one can see "after-images". In this work,
the footage is arranged in a collage, using a lot of superpositions that make some images hard to read. This collection of visual and sound memories maps a feeling of attachment to places and people.
